These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by 2know.me, where you can create personalized landing pages for visual resumes and professional portfolios. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines referenced herein. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. We may update these Terms periodically, with changes posted on this page and, where required, notified via email or website notice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 2know.me’s Services, including our website (2know.me), platform, and any applications, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any referenced rules or policies. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals subscribing to our Personal Plan ($9/month or $90/year) or Professional Plan ($15/month or $144/year), visitors browsing our site, and institutions (e.g., colleges) partnering with us. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if under 18 to use our Services. By creating an account or using our platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. Continued use after updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

2. Description of Services

2know.me provides a platform to create personalized landing pages for visual resumes (Personal Plan) and professional portfolios (Professional Plan). Features include AI-driven customization, template selection, LinkedIn integration (Professional Plan), and unlimited updates (Professional Plan). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or Services at our discretion, with notice where feasible. We do not guarantee that all features will be available at all times due to maintenance, updates, or other factors.

3. Account Creation and Security

To access certain Services, you must create an account by providing accurate information (e.g., name, email, password). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access or use. 2know.me is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

You agree not to misuse our Services, including by attempting to access restricted areas, reverse-engineer the platform, use automated tools (e.g., bots) for data extraction, or engage in activities that disrupt our Services or harm other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

2know.me offers two paid plans:

• Personal Plan: $9/month or $90/year, designed for students and recent graduates to create visual resumes.
• Professional Plan: $15/month or $144/year, designed for professionals with features like premium templates, LinkedIn integration, and unlimited updates.

Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize recurring payments for your subscription. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. No refunds are provided for subscription fees, including after the 7-day free trial (if applicable), except as required by law.

We may offer promotional discounts or free trials. Such offers are subject to additional terms and may not be combined unless specified. If you access our Services through a school partnership, discounted rates may apply, subject to our agreement with the institution.

5. User Content

You may upload content to create your landing page, including resumes, headshots, portfolio images, videos, or text (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content and grant 2know.me a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process this content solely to provide and promote the Services (e.g., generating your landing page, featuring anonymized samples with your consent).

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks). You agree not to upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful content (e.g., defamatory material, malware). We reserve the right to remove or disable access to User Content that violates these Terms or our policies.

6. School Partnerships

2know.me partners with educational institutions to offer discounted plans and career service integrations. If you are a school representative, you agree to provide accurate institutional details (e.g., contact information, student eligibility data) to facilitate the partnership. We may share limited user data (e.g., account status) with partnered schools to verify eligibility, subject to our Privacy Policy and user consent.

Schools must ensure their use of our Services complies with applicable laws (e.g., FERPA for U.S. student data). 2know.me is not liable for school-related data misuse unless caused by our negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and design elements of the 2know.me platform (e.g., templates, AI algorithms, logos), excluding User Content, are owned by 2know.me or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without prior written consent.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services for personal or professional purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not permit reselling, sublicensing, or using our Services for unauthorized commercial purposes.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to paid features will end, and your landing page may become inaccessible unless preserved under a free tier (if available).

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services for:

• Non-payment of subscription fees.
• Violation of these Terms (e.g., misuse, unlawful User Content).
• Engaging in activities that harm our platform or users.

Upon termination, we may delete your User Content, subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements. Sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination (e.g., Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability) will remain in effect.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2know.me, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You use the Services at your own risk, and we are not liable for any damages resulting from technical issues, third-party actions, or your failure to follow these Terms.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold 2know.me, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

2know.me is not liable for delays or failures in providing the Services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, government regulations, or third-party service outages.

14. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any referenced guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and 2know.me regarding the Services.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Notices: We may send notices via email, our website, or your account dashboard. You agree to keep your contact information up to date.
